Another Baker’s Dozen of Signs

Some new signs have come my way, and so, I must share them. 🙂

A family in our daughter's neighborhood had a yard sale a few months ago. Here's the sign they placed in their front yard.

Ever Think Must Go

Did you ever think? If so, it must go!

This next sign shows the value of including all the words in a message.

Freshen Up Your What

The backwards "N" in several places is fun too.

Becka and I saw a sign along a road for a beauty parlor in Tennessee this summer, but I didn't pull off to take a picture of it. I wish I had. I did a websearch and turned up the following that includes the name of the place.

Hazels Hairstyles Stuff

As vague as "& Stuff" is, here's the other extreme — a sign that's super specific.

Really Specific Sign

This next sign could also use a bit of specificity. Just what exactly do they have to offer?!

Moose Parts Available

A young couple I know honeymooned in the Azores. The Portuguese airline that services the islands had an interesting translation on their air sickness bags.

To Air Sickness

Is that a toast or what?!

Here's another rather cryptic sign they saw outside of some restrooms.

WC Sign

If this business wasn't open before, it certainly is now!

Really Open

This next sign probably put some minds at ease ... or not....

Not Same Truck

The next couple of signs will be of special interest to my musically inclined readers. The first one is from a concert hall.

Cell Phone Threat

The next one is a hand-made sign turned into a meme.

In Treble

Anyone want to explain the next sign?

Beware Invisibility

And because some things aren't invisible, I guess, this final sign has some great advice.

Housekeeping Tip

This is our first full week of classes. I'm thoroughly enjoying my students and am pumped at their enthusiasm. May it continue!

quotation...

Failure is not the worst thing in the world — it is worse not to try.

I was reading the musical reading comprehension meme in British, so it took me a minute to figure out why they needed a crotchet for the phone.

Ah, yes. Humor doesn’t always work cross-culturally. Thanks for sharing that.
