So glad to read that you were able to go the the Creation Museum–it is great! My husband and I think it is top-notch, too. =) Even our 3-year-old can’t stop talking about what he’s learning there. We live relatively close to the museum and hope to make our 4th trip there this week! (We describe it as something like walking through a “Living Gallery” production . . . for a day!) =)

LuAnne, I agree with both parts of your comment – how well done the Creation Museum is and how much fun our grandson is getting to be with all that personality.

Teri, I’m glad you commented on how ridiculous governmental regulations are becoming. Our government is becoming more and more controlling and is trying to do away with our constitutional rights. It’s kinda scary how close the vote was last week on the gun ban in D.C. – one vote the other way, and we would have lost the 2nd amendment! May the Lord help us!

If the “new Noah’s ark” story isn’t so true! I work for a parks & recreation dept. in a city in MN and we’re in the process of creating a huge city park on the mighty Mississippi – talk about having to jump through hoops! The city’s ordinances, the state’s laws, the MN DNR’s policies, the county all have to have their say and have it done their way. My comment to them….if you want it your way, go to Burger King!

I went to the Museum a month ago…how fabulous. That was my initial reaction…that it was done so well, first class, like BJ does everything.

Drew is getting so much personality. I know how you love him, I love my four g’daughters so much. They are a reason to breathe, not that I need one.

David, Barbara, and Deb, you have all confirmed whatever we had been told about the Creation Museum, and now we join that chorus. I hope some who read my blog will now plan to visit there soon.

Vikki, I asked Becka about that. She said she never thought that when she was little. But we laughed as we remembered that our daughter Nora who, as a little girl, put fireworks and her mommy’s birthday together and asked, “When will I be old enough to have fireworks on my birthday?”

Margie, we will pray for you and hope that ivman readers will also.

I’ve got to ask, when Becka was a little girl, did she think the fireworks were for her birthday? I have a brother-in-law who was also born on July 4 and that’s what he thought when he was little. As a side note, July 4 is also my birthday . . . spiritual, that is. I was saved on July 4, ‘76.

We’ve been wanting to go to the Creation Museum some time. It was neat to watch the progress on it through AIG’s newsletters.

To put it in the parlance of my young college scholars, the Creation Museum is “way cool.” Nancy and I were there a year ago, just about a week or so after the grand opening. At that time, a few of the exhibits were still “under construction.” The museum staff had placed placards next to these unfinished exhibits. Appropriately enough, the placards read: “We are still evolving here.”

By all means, visit the Creation Museum. It’s just a few miles west of I-71/I-75 on I-275. It is well worth it.
