People know I love funny signs, and readers help keep me supplied with pictures. Today's post should bring a smile to your face at least once.
Since summer vacation often means trips to the zoo, I'll start off with a couple of warning signs from zoos. This first one is simple enough for a child to understand.
The Mogo Zoo in Australia has another warning sign about children.
The next sign seems to be stating the obvious.
But the meaning of the next one is far from from obvious.
The next two contain contradictory information.
The fine print on the picture above is interesting.
For those of you who are considering plastic surgery, this next sign means to offer the comforting encouragement you need as you face the scary prospect of choosing a doctor.
What's not so clear in that sign is whether the doctor is above or below average.
This next sign promises what might not be your average town.
The last two signs for today are different takes on the kind of signs that normally provide contact information on a tear-off tab at the bottom. The maker of the first sign must be extremely philanthropic.
This final sign was posted on my Facebook wall by a former student from my earliest days of teaching who knows my punny bent.
I hope you smiled or laughed at least one as you read this blog post. If you didn't, I'm not sure what that's a sign of....
