News You May Have Missed

With so much news available through various media, many find it hard to sift through all of it to find something relevant to their lives. Today's blog post is a compilation of newspaper articles that may have slipped past even the most careful reader. However, I make no claims to the relevance of any of these twelve articles.

I'm not sure who picked up and ran with this bit of news, but this woman might find more satisfaction in this area of her life if she were on Facebook where birthday greetings abound.

It would be interesting to see how the police plan to accomplish what's reported in the next article.

Maybe that man under house arrest could get in on the following "deal."

I can't decide whether the county in question in this next article is benevolent or mercenary.

I wonder how many people have also had the experience related in the next article, without knowing what has happened to them.

When I was a child I used to confuse the two weather phenomena mentioned in this next article. So I was surprised to see that a grown-up journalist still confuses them.

Not everyone could walk into a sweetheart deal like this one....

I think this next one might be another one of those situations where two unrelated stories ended up next to each other in the newspaper ... at least, I hope that's what's happened here.

I wonder if any of this man's enemies have told him yet that he is paranoid....

This one brought a wry smile to my face.

This story hit several different news outlets I've seen in recent months.

I'm rather surprised that there aren't some Repubs seriously campaigning already for the 2012 presidential race. It seems as if Clinton, Edwards, and Obama were already going at it full bore at this time two years ago. At least, it seemed as if the campaign lasted for a full two years, although there may have actually been only 22 or 23 months of bashing campaigning.....

I heard that the first Republican presidential debate for the 2012 season is scheduled for March 2011.

Rob adds: Any idea who is going to take part?

I saw a segment on GMA this morning which featured Donald Trump, who was saying he might very well throw his hat in the ring. I could hardly believe it! But thought, why not? 🙂 He said he would definitely announce by June of 2011. Interesting, hmm?

Rob adds: He really should keep his hat on, if it will cover up his hideous hair. 😉

In the one about the replaced computer hardware, if there were no leads, how could it be hooked up together in the first place???? :>I)

I like the whining at work – sometimes it calls for heavier weapons that the one shown above.

My dad used to like to tell people about selling second-hand coffins – maybe there was a connection to the used tombstone ad.
