the ultimate Post-It note office prank?
I received a humorous e-mail yesterday that I thought had potential as a blog post. I would hate to be the car owner … once I was done laughing about the prank.
The Ultimate Post-It Note Office Prank?
It definitely raises the bar! Somewhere there’s a very unhappy office manager with nothing left in the annual ’supplies’ budget .
How would you like to walk to your car and find this?

The poll on my blog about whether to keep the picture at the top is still in the sidebar and some have voted. I like my blog either way, but I would really like to know what people think since I want the blog to be as appealing as possible to the readers - one of the main reasons my blog exists.
Also with this new tool in place, I’m open to suggestions for future poll questions.
My wife and I are certainly glad it’s Friday - we’re working on a special project for our church, are pretty tired, and ask for your prayers. I will be able to explain better once it’s over.
Here are a couple of recent pictures of our grandson Drew….

house wren update…
As best as I can determine, the baby birds have died and disappeared. We had several days in a row where the daytime high temperatures were near or at 100 degrees in the last week - unseasonably high temps, to say the least. The little bird house is shaded at no time during the day at all, and I guess the little birdies just didn’t survive it.

How many people thought of the Post-it note before it was invented but just didn’t have anything to jot it down on?

Hi Rob~ thanks for mentioning the poll in your post today. Since I read you in bloglines I hadn’t seen your sidebar poll. I guess…if I always read in bloglines, that means I never see the banner picture anyway, but I did vote.
The top picture of Drew is adorable!
Thanks, Deb. I also read most of my blogs through bloglines, but I still occasionally click on the blog name to go see what things look like on the blog itself. My wife reads through bloglines also, but always opts to go to the blog, using bloglines as a quick way of knowing when her favorite blogs are updated.
That is so sad about the birds!
You need to invest in some air conditioned bird houses I guess!
I like the Paris skyline, naturally, so I say, keep it!
It just fits you, too, with that lovely little gargoyle perched there, overlooking the city. It makes me miss Paris and our French team!
I have a huge stack of Post-It notes in my desk. I wonder if my boss would like **her** car redone like that…hmmm…I may have to give it a go.
Thanks for your posts! (I love the Drew pics, too!)
A nice looking car there, lol.
I love the Paris skyline–it makes this blague something a bit different from a blog! I think Paris is the most beautiful city in the world, so I voted for it to stay. I also love hearing about your birds, yard, and family. Even though we don’t know each other, I enjoying finding out about other Christians’ interests. Wish I knew how to blog! One of my favorite parts of the blague is the quote at the end–always thought-provoking and nearly always sends conviction my way. Thank you.
Vive la Paris!
Walt’s co-workers obviously have WAY too much time on their hands! If I were their boss, I would make them re-stack the post-it notes and use them up before I ordered any more. :o)
The car - post-it note idea was awesome! It’s like forking someone’s lawn. The owner has to take the time to undo the damage before he can go about his business.
I really like the top pix, so I’m voting as soon as this is submitted. Keep it. Yes! But I never saw the voting place until I started exploring around the page a bit. I guess I just get too imvolved in the story to think about the other bits.
Oh, my! That’s worse than the “post-it-note bandit” that worked for me when I was a GA! When I lived in the grad dorm, I was not in the habit of locking my door. On my birthday a year or so ago I dropped off my take-out lunch in my dorm room as usual. I came back between five and ten minutes later and discovered that my room had—during the brief time I was gone—been festively decorated for my birthday with over 500 colorful post-it notes. I was still finding them in random places six months later.
Love the Paris skyline–it looks nice, and it just fits with you and the blog. Definitely keep it.
I, like the others above me, did not see the poll until you mentioned it. Maybe future polls should be at the top where they’re highly visible? Just a thought. =)
Wow! It’s good to know that the gargoyle looking out over the Paris skyline is something that people actually like and not just something cheesy that appeals to me.
I’m glad too that my readers enjoyed the Post-It note pix as much as I did.
hmm… I will have to send you a few post-it note pranks of mine! We plastered a certain GA’s car while I worked at the DC. I also have two occasions where my office was plastered as well, on two different campuses! I love post-its!
