Why Women Live Longer than Men, Take 5

After doing four posts with pictures that show why women live longer than men, I should have known that it would be only a matter of time until more pictures surfaced. And surface they did! I got an e-mail last week with many pictures that weren't part of the ones I had published. In fact, there are enough for two posts! Today's post is the first of the two. These pictures all have something to do with men and their lack of fear (read: sense?) about height and safety.

Not all heights are a problem, and yet falling is still not a good idea, as in this one....

Strong Support for Scaffold

There are other "scaffolds" that could be just a precarious.

Strong Window

This worker must feel pretty secure with his buddy at the other end of that rope.

Safety Rope

Moving people out of upper-story apartments can be "an adventure in moving," to parrot a former slogan of U-Haul. Here's one way to move things out. I've actually been part of a move like that in France, minus the balcony! I hasten to add that it wasn't my idea and that it was done in spite of my advice. After all, it's how they got it into the apartment in the first place.

Moving Adventure

Here's a more hi-tech way of doing things. From the stop sign, it looks like it might be in Québec. Ah, those French forebears would be so proud of them!

Moving Adventure

The next picture makes me wonder if this guy landed squarely in the pants below. Aerial feats or feet?

Dressing Feats

We men just love seeing what we can do with ladders. Some of these situations are pretty unbelievable!

Trimming Tall Shrubs

Ladder Support

Trusty Tailgate

This one gives me the heebie-jeebies!

Building Vaulting Ladder

And when there's no ladder available, just form a human ladder.

I'll end with a picture where you just know the guy is yelling, "Hey, Mom, watch this!"

Hey Mom Look

I'll wait a few weeks before posting the other half of the pictures. I'll let you recover from these. 🙂

No sense wearing a hardhat. What’s going to get damaged?

Or, what’s going to get damaged that isn’t already?
